I need to say that I am completely obsessed with this fragrance and have been since I was pregnant. There is something so magical, comforting, but also very sexy about this for me, and I am talking about Zadig & Voltaire This Is Her!
With this perfume, when I see that my bottle is below half, I have to buy another. I get anxiety thinking that I do not have this perfume at home. When I spray this perfume, I feel like I have been sprayed with a comfort blanket, and to retain this feeling I like to spray myself and my clothes.
This is Her by Zadig & Voltaire is a Amber Vanilla fragrance.
his is Her was launched in 2016. This is Her was created by Sidonie Lancesseur, who has created many fragrances for Kilian and Michel Almairac, has created many for Bond No. 9, Chloe, and Burberry.
- Top notes are Pink Pepper, Silkwood Blossom and Jasmine Sambac.
- Middle notes are Whipped Cream, Vanilla and Chestnut.
- Base notes are Sandalwood and Cashmere Wood.
I do feel that this fragrance is more female leaning but that does not mean it cannot be worn by a man. I wear this perfume alone during the day and I layer it in the evenings but always using This Is Her as my base. For the cold winter nights, I have loved layering this with Paragon from Initio Parfums Prives. I do feel this works all year around, but I have not tried it during the summer since being pregnant, so I am interested to see how I feel this summer.
This is a vanilla fragrance that can be worn all year round. In terms of longevity, it does not last the whole day, but around 4 hours and then I will top up. Medium to low projection but for those intimate moments, when you can smell it on skin, it makes me tingle. I just love it!

This is a 10/10 perfume for me, it is my fragrance comfort blanket, which always has to be in my collection.
