The Ultrasun Glimmer SPF is a once-a-day sun protection formula, which works on all skin tones and for all skin types, including sensitive skin. This ingenious product is accepted so easily into the skin, and even on the darkest skin tone, it does not leave a greasy film or white cast on the skin. Instead, the ‘Gimmer’ version has flecks of gold, silver, pink, and blue, that can’t be felt when applied but develop over 10 to 15 minutes into a stunning, airbrushed effect on the skin, without compromising on protection in the sun.
Ultrasun The Science
The sun protection number on the bottle is the protection we can expect against UVB (ultraviolet burn) rays. We all must take note and demand for sun protection products that give high protection for UVA (ultraviolet ageing) rays.
In October 2021, EWG scientists in a study used laboratory tests and computer modelling to assess 51 sunscreens with SPF between 15 and 110 and found many offer just a quarter of their stated SPF protection against ultraviolet A rays, which increase the risk of skin cancer.
With Ultrasun, their SPF30 range offers protection in the region of 90% UVA rays, and for the SPF50+ range, in the region of 95% UVA filter. These numbers are massively high and is one of the reasons (an important reason) why I have used Ultrasun for 15 years.
UVA rays penetrate deep into the dermis (skin), and damage our collagen and elastin fibres.

The shelf life of all Ultrasun products is 36 months or more from the date of manufacture (in line with most cosmetic products in general). Ultrasun products are complete safe to sue for at least this period of time.
My Opinion on Ultrasun Glimmer
Ultrasun Glimmer is UVA & UVB high sun protection, and a body airbrush product in one. This product is BEAUTIFUL! I like to use all over the body but I also know people who like to use just on certain areas. The Ultrasun Glimmer products are also very flattering on brides, and this is a product that I always recommend to my destination or Cyprus-Summer brides. The formula easily absorbs into the skin and leaves no residue.
All Ultrasun products are a once-a-day formula which does not deteriorate, thanks to their EcoSun Awarded Patented Lamellar Technology. If I am spending hours in the sun, I will another layer later on in the day to ensure that I am protected.
Apply your chosen Ultrasun Glimmer product and allow 10 to 15 minutes for the glimmer to develop. It isn’t too much, however, if you would like even more glimmer, Ultrasun released this year the Ultrasun Glimmer Max which gives even more sparkle.
