There is a chain of thought from some dermatologists that when we use moisturiser every day, we run the risk of making our skin older, not younger. If we apply a lot of moisture, the skin can become sensitive, dry, dull, and interfere with the natural hydration process.
I do believe there is an element of truth to this. It is also true that when we use the same skincare day in, day out, no matter the brand, our skin gets used to it, and we stop seeing results.

Elemis Skin Bliss Capsules

BeautyBio R45 is a six-week retinol course. How to Use
- In the morning, cleanse with a gentle cleanser, use your serum and moisturiser, and protect with a broad spectrum SPF 30 or higher. In the evening, cleanse with a gentle cleanser and then apply R45.
- Start with Phase 1, use a pump of 1A and a pump of 1B – cocktail (mix) together then apply to skin. This can be applied to the eye area also. Apply a night moisturiser over the top.
- After two weeks (14 treatments total) immediately begin using Phase 2 (2A and 2B) and repeat the process.
- After Phase 2, immediately begin Phase 3 for two weeks (14 treatments total).
- After Phase 3, immediately begin Phase 4 for two weeks (14 treatments total).
- Please note: Phase 4 is only recommended after Phases 1 – 3 of the R45 regime. Do not start with Phase 4.
