PERLES DE LALIQUE EDP
PERLES DE LALIQUE is a Chypre Eau de Parfum. An ode to eternal femininity, showcasing generous amounts of the very highest quality natural raw ingredients.
Perles de Lalique represents to me:
- Elegance
- Sophistication
- Strong Character
- Personality
- Confidence
This perfume was first introduced in 2006 and won a best-perfume award in 2007 by Marie Claire. Lalique took its inspiration for the bottle from the now classic ‘Cactus’ powder box (below), originally created by the artist in 1928.
This chypre-floral compositon was designed by award winning, Nathalie Lorson Firmenich. The notes are voluptuous, intoxicating, feminine and very seductive. Bulgarin rose shines with its sweet and spicy nuances. At its heart, the note of sensual and powdery iris caressed by bourbon pepper which offers the wave of some modern colouring segueing into patchouli and musk. The cashmere note gives off an elegant and refined character.
I adore this fragrance! The notes are so well-balanced for day and night and suits all weather seasons.

My Opinion
The tale of Lalique is bound up with the history of perfume itself. After creating countless precious bottles, it’s now also an exciting perfume house.
Lalique may not be the brand that instantly comes to mind when you think of perfume, however, the quality of their raw ingredients is exceptional.
Lalique produces timeless pieces; whether it is a fragrance or a piece of crystalware.
This perfume had slipped my mind until recently. I have tried and adorned myself in many Lalique perfumes over the years but for me, this is the best!
C’est la modernité intemporelle! (timeless modernity).
This perfume represents a woman who knows her own mind; confident and yet able to show her vulnerability and be herself in safe company. There is a depth, an intensity, and an elegance that we don’t always find in newer fragrances.
However, this is a heady chypre-floral so if you do not like a hot-blooded fragrance then this may not be the right one for you. Instead, try Rêve D’infini Eau De Parfum or L’Amour.
