I always look forward to going home; to see friends, family, and shop! I didn’t do too much shopping this time, to be honest, but one of the five was a substantial investment which meant that I had to be strict with myself. Here are my top 5 beauty products bought in London:

Why Did I Buy These 5 Beauty Products?
Scientia Beauty NOTOX Youth Boost Anti-Ageing Eye Serum
This was an impulse buy on the plane on the way back from London Gatwick to Larnaca with Wizz Airlines.
The eyes and the neck are always the first two places to show our ‘real’ age so I am always on the lookout for products promising a better result. The Scientia Notox Eye Serum says that it works on fine lines, puffiness, wrinkles, and dark circles. It is also cruelty-free and vegan society approved.
The price was only €25 and with a large study sample of 109 people, I felt the need to try this product!
Hourglass Cosmetics Ambient Lighting Edit – Unlocked in Elephant
I try the special edition Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edits every year. For me, last year’s was amazing, and I bought both options – both for my personal and my professional makeup kit. This year, Hourglass has released 3 colour ways; Butterfly, Elephant, and Tiger.
Butterfly is for very fair to light skin tones. My skin tone fades a lot in the winter months but still, I feel like this would be too light for me and my clients.
Elephant is from light to medium skin tones. This palette is perfect for a day to more of a romantic soft glam evening look. Anything more dramatic than the more bronzing shades are actually too soft.
Tiger for medium to tan skin tones. I am considering buying this palette, however, as I still have last year’s darker palette, I may see if I can pick it up at a better price in the January sales.
Hourglass Cosmetics knows how to combine textures and pigments to create flawless finishes so it is always a brand that I recommend but their products are not cheap. These palettes are €100 each!
The Ordinary 100% Organic Virgin Chia Seed Oil
100% Organic Virgin Chia Seed Oil hydrates your skin without clogging pores which is very important for my acne-prone skin. It is made of 100% organic, virgin chia seed oil that is naturally sourced and cold-pressed and contains alpha-linolenic acid —an essential fatty acid that promotes healthy-looking skin. What’s more, this natural skin hydrator also contains linoleic, oleic, stearic, and palmitic acids, which means it’s ideal for both skin and hair.
This is the perfect addition for dry and dehydrated skin and hair over the colder months and €8 is great value for money!

MAC Cosmetics Art Library Nude Model is 12 intensely pigmented neutrals that can be used wet or dry in a wide variety of textures and finishes. Priced at £40.00.
Dyson Hair Corrale Hair Straighteners Hair Fuchsia/Nickel
The Dyson Corrale™ is the most awarded straightener of 2021 based on industry-recognised awards. I already have the Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer and the Dyson Aiwrap, so I naturally wanted at some point to complete the set with the Dyson Corrale.
This hair straighter automatically regulates the temperature 100 times per second and is the only straightener with flexing plates that shape to gather hair.
This is a considered purchase at £399.99 but it has to be the best hair straightener I have used to date in 25 years.
