Molton Brown Rosa Absolute & Tobacco Absolute

When it comes to an ‘absolute,’ it means a highly concentrated aromatic
oil, the absolute is extracted using a low-temperature method that captures the rose’s fragrance in its potent form.

The long and demanding process helps prevent damage to the delicate fragrance and produces an aroma that is richer and closer to the natural rose scent.

The Rosa Absolute is a symbol of love and beauty, it is a luxurious red rose sourced from Lombardia in Italy and extracted in its purest, most concentrated form, the absolute. It won a CEW Beauty Award in 2017.

Tobacco Absolute is a complex, warm combination of woods, Paraguayan tobacco, balsam, and musks lifted by a hint of citrus. The mature authenticity of tobacco absolute balances the sensual depth of Peru balsam as it intermingles with Argentinian grapefruit and bergamot for a subtle though decisive freshness.

Rosa Absolute: Italian rose oil, blackcurrant and patchouli combine to create an indulgent, intoxicating scent.

Tobacco Absolute: A mature and complex blend of cedarwood, leather accord, and tobacco with a hint of grapefruit.

For me, these are the scents for Mr & Mrs. James Bond. They are both unisex and I do use both but in my mind, this is the vision that the scents invoke – a real-life Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz.

Molton Brown Geranium Nefertum

Geranium Nefertum by Molton Brown is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance and a CEW 2020 award winner. Geranium Nefertum was launched in 2019.

The top notes are Fig Leaf and Bergamot; the middle notes are Geranium and Jasmine; the base notes are Sandalwood, Labdanum and oak moss.

Oakmoss is an ingredient synonymous with the chypre fragrance family. Its earthy, leathery accords really anchor the scent beautifully. It brings hidden depth and a robust twist to the original. The scent is typified by its woody, sensual notes with hints of musk and amber.

This is a mysterious and unique aroma. It is very balanced; green botanicals of the geranium leaf leaves, with a touch of mint. It is very fresh but not fresh in terms of an oceanic scent, I mean fresh in terms of the smell of nature. Again, another unisex Molton Brown fragrance.

Molton Brown Suede Orris

Another 2019 launch for Molton Brown was the Suede Orris. This is a stunning feminine fragrance that adds exquisite drops of orris absolute and couture suede to your shower hour with this dreamy full-size bath and shower gel. A precious fragrance with top notes of mandarin and olibanum and a distinctive cedarwood base.

I used vanilla to dramatically enhance the essence of Suede Orris Eau de Toilette. Suede accord is warmed and amplified by the leathery notes and smoky undertones. On the other side, the amber-like and woody aspects of vanilla pods enrich the soft, powdery notes of Tuscan orris.

When I smell this fragrance, it makes me think Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. Molton Brown Suede Orris is a well put together floral oriental fragrance that exudes understated female elegance in a bottle.

Molton Brown Russian Leather

Molton Brown Russian Leather was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Loic Bisceglie.

The top notes are Black Tea, Elemi resin, and Basil; the middle notes are Birch, Tobacco, and Siberian Pine; the base notes are Leather, Vetiver, and Cade oil.

Russian Leather has earned legendary status for its rich scent and unsurpassed durability. The aged leather accord in our fragrance reflects the complex craft of seventeenth century leather-making in its unique use of birch oil for tanning and dying – a method practiced by only a few remote Russian villages.

This fragrance is dark, intense, and enigmatic. It is a very sexy fragrance. I love this fragrance on date night but I also love the way this smells on a man. This is a scent of the promise, of how the night will unfold and I can assure you, it will not be a boring night in!
