I will always have Molton Brown in my home. It signifies luxury bath, body, and fragrance products for me. Every season, I rotate my Molton Brown so that it reflects the season and my mood. Here are some of my favourite Molton Brown Summer Fragrances.
Molton Brown Vetiver & Grapefruit
Molton Brown Vetiver & Grapefruit is a divine citrus-woody fragrance and I love to fragrance layer with this scent.

The Molton Brown Haitian vetiver is renowned as the world’s most precious incarnation of this oil; the tropical grass is in fact harvested for its deep roots, typified by its sparkling grapefruit notes, and used by farmers to thatch roofs and prevent land erosion.
Molton Brown Vetiver & Grapefruit Fragrance
- Top notes of grapefruit, cardamom and white pepper
- A heart of rose, neroli and lychee
- A base of vetiver, cedarwood and amber
This fragrance is perfect for the summer months. It cuts through the Cyprus heat and summer stickiness.
The combination of the vetiver, the cedarwood, the nutmeg, and the cinnamon, gives this fragrance it’s woody depth, balanced by the zestiness of the grapefruit, and the pink pepper.
My only disappointment is that I cannot get the fragrance at the moment in Cyprus. I hope that this will change soon, failing that I can travel safely and buy it elsewhere.
Molton Brown Flora Luminare Eau de Parfum
Molton Brown Flora Luminare was introduced as Rosa Absolute was phased out. Personally, I think there is enough diversity between the two fragrances to co-exist. However, Molton Brown felt differently; here’s hoping to Rosa Absolute being brought back at some point.

- Top notes of milky almond bitter, mandarin, petitgrain and olibanum
- A heart of intense tiare absolute, neroli, jasmine absolute and rose absolute
- A base of earthy mate absolute, sandalwood, cedarwood and musk
Solar blooming notes of bitter almond soften into neroli and tiare absolute, culminating in a creamy trail of sandalwood and musk.
Molton Brown Flora Luminare Eau de Parfum smells like summer. This fragrance conjures up an exquisite secluded summer island in my mind, and all that comes with it.
For my summer brides, the white tiare flower and the jasmine make it a perfect summer wedding fragrance.
It is the Ylang-Ylang that makes the difference with this fragrance. Senior Perfumer Maïa Lernout uses only the purest raw ingredients; her signature ylang-ylang has been distilled three times to capture every rich facet. This extraction process is rarely used in perfumery; it is more sustainable, using a smaller volume of wood and natural materials.

Flora Luminaire is a beautiful summer fragrance. However, if I had to choose between Flora Luminaire and Rosa Absolute then I choose Rosa Absolute every time!
Molton Brown Blissful Templetree Bath & Shower Gel
The exotic Temple Tree or Frangipani (Plumeria rubra) comes from tropical Central and South America. The flowers are really breathtakingly beautiful visually and in fragrance.
The award-winnng Molton Brown Blissful Templetree is a unisex fruity-floral summer fragrance. Filled with rose, jasmine and rich patchouli notes, this body wash pays homage to fragrant plumes in a Huaxia temple courtyard.

Officially a ‘floral fragrance, this is completely unisex. When I use Blissful Templetree in my bath or shower, I feel calm and clean but in a very expensive way. This is a very unique fragrance; spa like, hydrating, calming, sensual, unisex, and nourishing. If this was available as an EDP, I would buy it without a second through.
If meditating on an exclusive island had a fragrance, it would be Molton Brown Blissful Templetree!
