The L’Oréal Professionnel Serie Expert Silver is for grey, white, and light blonde hair. Yes, it is purple but it works differently from the other purple shampoos I have. It does not deposit colour and turn my hair blue. Instead, it clarifies and neutralises my hair, leaving my hair brighter and cool-toned.
The brand says it has a neutralising system, enriched with magnesium and anti-yellowing agents, which counteracts unwanted brassy tones.
When hair is lightened or turns grey, its natural warm tones become visible and often throw unwanted yellow tones. The deep purple shampoo helps to neutralise these tones maintaining our blonde or white colour. How to Use
Apply to cleansed and towel-dried hair after using the Serie Expert Silver Shampoo and massage well into hair. Leave for 2-5 minutes and rinse thoroughly for silky smooth results!
My Opinion on L’Oréal Professionnel Serie Expert Silver
I have tried many blue. purple, and silver hair ranges. I have found that it is worth paying for a more professional products unless you don’t mind walking around with blue hair that feels like straw.

Truth be told I still have these in my bathroom but I keep reaching for my L’Oréal Professionnel Serie Expert Silver. The differences are subtle, but I prefer a more silver ash finish and with the Serie Expert Silver, I get this every time.
I also feel that when I use my L’Oréal Professionnel Serie Expert Silver, I am not compromising on the condition of my hair. My hair feels soft and manageable to style.
