Achieve a super smooth, flawless complexion with the Hydra Veil Primer from Illamasqua. This primer is the perfect base for any Illamasqua Skin Base foundation but it will also work with any other foundation brand.
It is a gel consistency and it moulds to whatever shape it is on or in. It comes with a small spoon and a pea size amount is enough to cover the t-zone. It can be used on top of a moisturiser but it is moisturising enough to replace our skincare if preferred especially in the summer months.

From a smoothing perspective, this is the BEST foundation I have tried to date. My skin looks flawless and I only need a very small amount. I prefer a natural finish for my day look but this foundation is buildable to a full coverage if desired. Skin looks like skin; natural, soft matte with a healthy glow! It gives a matte look but with a very subtle sheen, perfect to achieve that fresh-faced look. Its adaptability makes it great for makeup artists and makeup lovers alike. It has buildable coverage, that allows you to have the cover you want, from sheer and natural to a full, flawless base. I like to build Skin Base in layers, using a fluffy round brush, starting in the middle of the face, close to the nose, and then blending out in circular motions.

Highly pigmented, prepare for an intensity that’s not just colour-true but extremely long-lasting. This is a shimmer brown that works for all skin tones. This formula can be sheered out to create a glossy wash of colour or built up for a high-drama metallic look. I like to pat on the colour first and then gently blend backward and forwards to soften the overall look.
