How to Use

My Opinion on How to Exfoliate at Home with Gatineau

We all need to exfoliate. Exfoliating is a really important step in our skincare routine.

When we could have salon facials (pre-covid), every salon facial starts with some form of exfoliation. Exfoliation helps rid the skin of dead skin cells. Once we exfoliate, our skin looks smoother, brighter, our serums and treatments go on better, and our makeup has that glass-like effect.

The Gatineau exfoliators are gentle giants; they are kind to the skin and yet give a great result. I have added application videos from Gatineau UK so that we can get the best out of these products. Unfortunately, I could not find one for the body as it is a relatively new product.

Generally speaking, if I am rushed for time, I will use the Gatineau Radiance Enhancing Gommage. It literally takes minutes and gives an instant pick-me-up effect to the skin and smells zesty divine.

When I have more time, I like to use the Gatineau Peeling Expert Pro-Radiance Anti-Ageing Gommage. I apply a nice thick layer on the face and neck and let it dry for at least 20 minutes. It is important to wait until it dries completely clear and it will naturally begin to peel off the skin. If you don’t allow it to dry clear, it is really hard to remove.

Lots of people (including me at times) neglect our bodies during the colder months because our bodies are not on display.
