Dyson Corrale
Last year, I included my Dyson Corrale on MY TOP 5 BEAUTY PRODUCTS BOUGHT IN LONDON. I have been using it now for over 12 months, so I thought it was about time, I gave you more of an informed opinion.
What is the Dyson Corrale
The Dyson Corrale is the official hair straighteners from Dyson. It straightens hair, but you can also do so much more including curls, kicks and flicks, and waves, and in super quick time.
This innovative hairstyling tool features three heat settings and a tourmaline edge with ionising properties, helping you achieve a range of styles. The Corrale straightener gives us up to 30 minutes of cordless styling. Store it away in the included heat-resistant travel pouch or the charging dock between styling which is what I do. If you’re looking to experience enhanced beauty hair moments, this is the tool for you.
The Dyson Technology
Dyson technology, for your hair – this straightener incorporates a four cell lithium-ion battery, drawn from Dyson’s cord-free vacuum technology, to give you up to 30 minutes of high-performance heat, or if you prefer to use it for longer, simply use it with the magnetic 360 cable and style your hair in Hybrid Charge Mode. As well as this, the OLED display allows you to see the battery level, charging status and temperature at a glance. Use it anywhere, any way.
Who is the Dyson Corrale for?
For anyone and for all hair types – specially engineered for all hair types, this straightener offers three precise heat settings, 165C, 185C and 210C, plus intelligent heat control that regulates the temperature 100 times a second, so you know it will never exceed your chosen heat setting.
A Dyson innovation – the Dyson Corrale is also engineered for balance, with weight balanced in the hand to help give maximum control while styling. The fact that we can style cordlessly is fantastic so we can touch up anywhere.

My Opinion
I own all available hair tools, and I have my eye on the new Airstrait once it is available. I typically use the Corrale to straighten. However, I am told that if I used it to create curls or mermaid waves, I could do it in super quick time. I haven’t tried yet but I will very soon.
To use the Dyson Corrale, you must use it on dry hair. Yes, you can add a serum beforehand, but hair should not be wet. To straighten my hair, I need 10 to 15 minutes and I have a lot of hair. To protect the hair, I take my time. One or two passes of the straighteners, at a fluid but slow pace ensures that my hair is straight with as little heat damage as possible.
